Taalzeker offers Dutch language courses to native speakers of Dutch and to people with other language backgrounds. These language training courses are given in what are referred to respectively as categories NT1 en NT2. All courses are given in-company, at your own location. Both private and group courses are available.
Customized
A key characteristic of Taalzeker's language training courses is that they are customized and always tuned to the wishes and needs of the pupils. Taalzeker will help you define your personal learning objectives for a course. Then, with Taalzeker's help and your own motivation and effort you can be sure of reaching these objectives.
Target groups
My particular talent is in giving language training courses to pupils who have followed a higher education. I work mainly with people in business or government, with expats and with university or higher vocational students. The enrolment level differs between beginners and advanced pupils.
If you have just arrived in the Netherlands and want to learn Dutch, Taalzeker offers you a good start. If at present you can get by quite well with your Dutch but you would like to take it to a higher level then Taalzeker offers you excellent opportunity to do so. Last of all, I love teaching people who are already fluent in Dutch but who want to perfect the language details. Learning a language is a process that can always be improved upon. This also goes for Dutch people who wish to further improve their writing skills.
Course programme
It doesn't matter which language skill you wish to improve because at Taalzeker you can study all aspects of the Dutch language: speaking, writing, reading and listening. Also grammar, spelling or knowledge of the Dutch culture can form part of the ingredients for a language training course. Another consideration is that a course can help create more self-confidence.
Greeting and meeting, making appointments, using the telephone, clarifying opinions, participating in meetings, presentation and negotiating skills, writing e-mails and job applications are topics that can be included in the programme.
Course materials
The type of course material used depends on the level and the wishes of the pupil. It could be off-the-shelf material but could equally well be Taalzeker's own material or, as is often the case, material from the pupils themselves, for instance: job application letters, work related e-mails, reports and study tasks that need to be written.
The more one enjoys a course I believe, the better the learning process will be. Because I am an enthusiastic teacher, pupils remain motivated throughout the course. My objective, together with you, is to reach the desired results. With Taalzeker you can be sure of a clear and reliable approach.
